Sit back and relax as you are transported through Central Otago, one of the world’s most picturesque wine regions.

Intro image

From the pioneering vineyards of Gibbston to the ‘heart of the desert’ in Bannockburn, this tour will allow you to become fully immersed into the region and show why Central Otago has become a world leader in Pinot Noir.

Breathtaking views and exquisite wines can be enjoyed at a leisurely pace as we host you on a journey through the heart of Central Otago, host to many of New Zealand's leading organic and biodynamic grower producers.  The tour will explore the philosophy behind organic and biodynamics and let you taste the difference.

Enjoy a luxurious hamper lunch filled with locally sourced meats, cheese and chutneys, accompanied by wine to match, this intimate picnic experience will be one of the highlights of the day and ensure you are refreshed and refuelled for the latter half of the trip, including another cellar door experience and the scenic drive back to Millbrook Resort.

There will be plenty of time for photo opportunities from incredible viewpoints along the way, and the trip can be tailored to suit your own preferences by simply asking your host on the day.
