The season begins in June and continues through until early October. We are happy to assist with arranging guest transport to each mountain from Millbrook Resort - so sit back, relax and take in the stunning views as you make your way up the slopes.

 

Let us help arrange your rental ski gear to be delivered and personally fitted in your accommodation by SnoPro - this service ensures you spend more time on the slopes, enjoying the snow. Alternatively equipment ranges and prices are available to view online, you can choose a fitting and delivery time when you book. Booking in advance recommended, as same day delivery cannot be guaranteed. 

Cardrona Alpine Resort
Recently expanded to include SoHo basin, you can now enjoy two ski fields at once. Purchase your Cardrona lift pass directly through Millbrook Resort and save time up the mountain. You can book this in advance or contact our Concierge team once you have arrived. Cardrona now has four wide, open basins with some of New Zealand’s most progressive terrain – every member of the family will have a favourite trail. Cardrona's altitude makes for some of NZ’s best snow conditions and they look after it with an innovative snow-making and snow management system. 

Coronet Peak
Only 20 minutes from Millbrook, Coronet Peak offers spectacular roller coaster terrain making it one of New Zealand's most exciting ski resort destinations. As the home of Night Ski, Coronet Peak lights it up Wednesday and Friday nights for more skiing and epic parties after the sun goes down in Queenstown. 

The Remarkables
Experience big mountain terrain just 45 minutes from Millbrook. Test out your skills in one of seven parks or take your first turns in the massive learner’s area. The Remarkables offers terrain and facilities that suit first timers to seasoned skiers and snowboarders. 

Treble Cone
Treble Cone, the largest ski area in New Zealand's South Island, is famous for its long, uncrowded groomed runs, legendary off-piste terrain and unrivalled views over Lake Wanaka and the Southern Alps.


Other activities
Winter in Queenstown offers a variety of activities suitable for families to adventure seekers. A casual bit of tobogganing with the kids, driving a snowmobile over snowy mountain plains, to those epic powder runs on a Heliski day. Winter doesn’t just take place on the skifields!
