Kobe Cuisine Japanese Restaurant and Teppanyaki grill

Kobe Cuisine has Queenstown’s only Teppanyaki grill and is the home of the highest quality Wagyu Beef available in New Zealand.
The restaurant offers a combination of traditional Japanese cuisine, Teppanyaki grill, an à la carte Asian menu and the best quality ‘fullblood’ Wagyu beef available in New Zealand.

Kobe Cuisine is the only restaurant in Otago to have a Teppanyaki grill and offer fullblood Wagyu beef, the very highest quality there is and hugely sought-after in the culinary world. The Wagyu beef is from cattle that are bred in Victoria, Australia, and spend 650 days on a Japanese feeding regime, when a normal grade of beef spends 100 days on feed.

Along with the sublime flavours of Wagyu beef, diners at Kobe Cuisine are treated to the showmanship of Japanese chefs ‘cooking up a storm’ on two Teppanyaki tables which can cater for up to 18 people at a time with two nightly sittings.

Kobe Cuisine will close on Saturday 27th April 2013 and will reopen Thursday 24th October 2013. Private Group bookings for Kobe Cuisine are available during this time. 

The Millhouse will offer a Japanese menu during this time. Our Hole In One Café will have a Winter Menu and an a la carte menu for you to choose from during this time.
