The Millhouse

Our fine dining establishment, The Millhouse, is one of Queenstown’s best restaurants.

The Millhouse Restaurant and Millbrook's Executive Chef, Russell Heron have won many restaurant and culinary awards, including the prestigious New Zealand Beef and Lamb Awards for Excellence for the last two years and the menu has many unique offerings such as Wagyu Beef and Organic Lamb from the Catlins Coast.

In July 2012, The Millhouse also received the Wine Spectator Award for Excellence for our superior wine list, which according to the judges perfectly matches our locally-inspired menu.

Located alongside the original water wheel and on the edge of The Mill Pond overlooking the 18th Hole, The Millhouse was the original flour mill in the resort’s former farm days and the history of the building is reflected inside and out. Our locally sourced seasonal produce complements wild game and fresh seafood in dishes blending European concepts with a South Pacific influence.

The roaring fire at The Millhouse evokes an ambience of romance in the winter, while al fresco dining by the Mill Pond is an ideal way to spend a Summer evening.

Delight your senses and accept our invitation to experience the best of what Central Otago has to offer.
