Melanie and Greg's wedding day dawned perfect, just as they often do at Millbrook Resort.

The sky was bright blue, the gardens were blooming and being late March the leaves on the trees were just starting to display a soft golden hue which only enhanced Millbrook’s already beautiful scenery and ambience.

The picturesque landscapes, natural beauty and tranquility of the resort were one of the many reasons Melanie and Greg chose Millbrook as the backdrop for their special day. In addition they have enjoyed many good times together at the resort and have so many fond memories which they wanted to share with their loved ones.

Desiring an intimate and personal wedding they chose the Secret Garden for their beautiful outdoor ceremony before moving to the gorgeous, slightly rustic Clubhouse for their reception. Melanie and Greg wanted a romantic, dreamy style so the Clubhouse was decorated with an abundance of flowers, candles and gold chairs, creating the perfect atmosphere for them to celebrate their love.

The two met by sheer luck in 2011 at an annual barbecue held at the apartment complex they both lived in at the time.

"It was a bit of luck that we actually met as Greg arrived rather late and I was supposed to have left. But, as luck would would have it, I was still there "chatting" when Greg finally did arrive and as they say, the rest was history."

From the first date it was easy and natural between them and they both knew that it was going to be a very special relationship. After seven years together, Greg's proposal came as a complete surprise to Melanie.

"We were on a holiday in Hawaii enjoying a glass of champagne on the verandah bar, Greg then brought out a classic solitaire diamond ring he had had made at a local jeweler and asked me to marry him!"

"We have enjoyed many good times together at Millbrook and have so many fond memories which we wanted to share with our loved ones."
