Our Greener Stay
As part of our Greener Stay programme, the resort will no longer be facilitating daily room servicing. This is to support Millbrook's commitment to achieve environmentally sustainable tourism. As a thank you for supporting our mission to create a better and healthier environment, we credit the accounts of guests staying in our Deluxe Studios, One & Two Bedroom Suites with $25 for each night of their stay (excluding arrival night) to use at any of our resort outlets.*
As a result of our Greener Stay launch in 2022, we successfully eliminated more than 28,000kg of CO2e from going into the atmosphere. This is equivalent to flying the entire circumference of the world almost five times.
For guests wishing to further contribute to the protection, restoration and enhancement of New Zealand's natural environment and biodiversity, Millbrook offers the option for guests to donate their full resort credit to our chosen charity, the Whakatipu Reforestation Trust. One night's credit is equivalent to three new trees being planted throughout our region.
Our goal is to plant 5,000 native trees across our district, and with your help we are excited to achieve it!
