Tell us about yourself:
I have called Queenstown home now for three years. What I enjoy most about living here is the hot summers, spending time on the water, playing on the jet ski, walking the hills and mountains, the cold winters, playing in the snow, or simply being rugged up in blankets on the couch in the winter watching movies. I also enjoy exploring the country in my car which I treat like a child.
What does your typical day at Millbrook look like?
A day at Millbrook is always different day to day, and that’s what I love about it. I perform various daily roles such as welcoming guests and being the friendly face behind the front desk, serving as a porter; going around to wherever I am needed, or sometimes I am driving our shuttles as a private driver, taking guests to and from the resort.
What do you love most about your job?
The amount of diverse people I get to work along side and interacting with the guests during their stay in this wonderful place. Additionally, the ever-changing roles I do here, with each week bringing something different which keeps me on my toes and lastly I am always learning something new.
What is it that makes Millbrook so special?
The people I work along side every day, being able to smile and and say hello to anyone around the resort, the stunning landscape and gorgeous views which I get to call my office, and the opportunities that I have been given to advance in my career.
What is the best advice you've ever been given?
Never be afraid to try something new.
